Representations of the Textbook Participants (Teacher - Parent of Student)

The research project we are proposing here focuses on a theme that is constantly gaining importance in both the scientific and media sphere, it is none other than the school textbook. Within the Algerian society the education of children has become a subject on which many discussions are built. Among these conversations, the most common topics are the school’s program and the textbook. In this research we plan to ask about the two themes. Therefore among the population we choose to question both teachers and parents of pupils who are in the 5th year of primary school. The focus will be on Oran schools, which will be revealed later on. This work will be done through a qualitative study, supported by interview guides who will interview the two populations.
